The Buddhist Meditation Group in Konstancin-Jeziorna is part of the Polish Diamond Way Buddhist Association of the Karma Kagyu Lineage. We practise under the guidance of Lama Ole Nydahl and the 17th Karmapa, Thaye Dorje.
Four of us began meditating together in the summer of 2008. More people joined and a Buddhist group was formed. The official inauguration took place on 17 January 2009, with a lecture by travelling teacher Marcin Barański.
We meet in a private home. The group was established to make it easier to practice together locally as regular travel to the Stupa House centre in Warsaw is often difficult.
We are a quiet group of friends who meditate together. We also keep in touch with our friends at Stupa House in Warsaw and visit for lectures and meditation.
You are welcome to join our group meditation meetings in Konstancin-Jeziorna.
Please arrange your visit with the group through online messaging services or phone beforehand. We agree on meeting dates in advance.
For introductory information about Buddhism, meditation and the Buddha's teachings, visit www.buddyzm.pl. For newcomers, we recommend visiting the center in Warsaw, for Projekt Start
Usually everyday at 7 pm (19:00), by prior arrangement through online messaging services or phone (see Contact).
Contact is necessary, because sometimes we cannot make it.
